VersusNet

VersusNet was started before the Android platform provided long-polling or game related APIs for device-to-device communication via a game server.

Subsequently, VersusNet development has been discontinued; this page is retained for historical purposes.

VersusNet (VS Net) is a platform upon which applications can be built to provide near-real-time updates to mobile devices. This is extremely useful when developing games or other applications where one user needs to send information to another user (such as a move in a game).

Currently, VersusNet is designed for Android; however, it is capable of being a multi-platform interface.

While this platform is not currently available, I encourage you to contact me about it using the general consultation form, and I can provide additional information regarding VS Net. It will enable you to provide near real-time notifications between your users playing games, etc.

Feel free to contact me for more information or to answer any specific questions you may have.
